hay...

ok, so i have 1 too many blogs.

i'm thinking of abandoning this one, but i like the way it looks (nyeh) so i'll still update this once in a while.

got the new DDC album. whoooppeeee!!!! one of the reasons why i went to capone's was to buy the cd (as well as see those guys. it's been quite a long time...) japs says i'm the second buyer. yay!

new music! it sorta reminds me of the postal service (na hindi). anyhow, i like it :) really indie. and dreamy. the type of music to listen to when you want to daydream. hehe. really worth your money with 21 tracks. ;) personal favorite? lousy judge of character! :D it's been my favorite ever since i listened to their music on soundclick. i like their version better than the shermans although it's just as good.

so there are other cd's i was planning to buy but what the heck right? anyway, it's payday tomorrow, and i can buy some cd's. yessssss!

almost a month of no updates..

oh well, life could be pretty busy at times. i've been swamped with work recently. staying at the office for about 10-12 hours is now considered normal (with no OT pay, mind you). and yes, i've been working. really. not watching videos, as unfortunately, my new pc does not have a soundcard, meaning i could not listen to my mp3s while working, either. boohoo. i feel so deprived. =(

i miss rivermaya.it's been quite a while since i last saw them...i miss the music and the guys (well, maybe 'xcept for rico. haha) it's been a while since i last chatted with mark!...i wanna see akemi! wish i'd have gone to her baptism... wish i could go to the ground anniv party tom! but of course, family does always have to come first. and besides, i'd choose swimming over a party any day. ;) but i do miss them. the next time i'll be seeing them would be in two weeks at their araneta concert. and i'm hoping they'd give us free tickets. hee. i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

still on hiatus

it was urbandub's last gig at capone's last night. i wanted to go, but it was a weeknight and i still had to go to work the following day. i didn't plan on going but out of the blue, sarah texted me and asked if i wanted to watch lemony snicket. hmm. an instant opportunity to maybe drop by later at capone's (prolly just to buy a shirt). so i said yes and then called my mom and told her i was going home with them. we watched the movie and then off i went to capone's. i got there around 10pm only to find out that there weren't a lot of people yet and what's worse, i was all alone. ack. it was really a good thing that i saw brutalgrace whom i haven't seen in a year! instant company. we got around to talking and reminiscing the incubus encounter and concert. hehe. saw mark, who was being really nice, as usual (feel ko talaga close na kami, na hindi =b), even asking urbandub's manager to reserve a shirt for me. hee. saw trisha a few minutes later and had a little chitchat. it was already getting late, about past 11, i still haven't gotten around to doing the reason i was there in the first place and my parents are still waiting for me!:o (if only i had a car or a driver; i would've stayed longer..) so i just asked trisha to buy a shirt for me. boo.

so i went home without a shirt i was meaning to buy and not being able to watch urbandub. hay... but all's well that end's well i guess, because it had been quite an interesting evening ;)

gurl on hiatus

yes, i am on hiatus, from going to gigs that is. the past few weeks have been quite a whirl, it seems i've been going to gigs a lot! so i decided to take time off, enjoy the comforts of home and rest. there are just certain gigs i'll be going to (like say, an urbandub gig? =D) don't get me wrong, i haven't gotten sick of going. gigs are always fun. i see and meet different kinds of people who are oh so nice and very friendly. ;) it's always a unique experience every time.

and they won! yay! :) :)

i didn't want to expect because the past few awards have been well, quite disappointing (even more disappointing for me sometimes, than for them) but i kinda knew in my heart that this award was in the bag. they've lost one too many times last year, i think it was about time they finally won, and erm, this was it.

yep, while 2004 was bamboo's year (though i hate to admit it), 2005 is maya's. ;)

God has been truly GREAT! =D
