my birthWEEK! and some stuff

i just didn't celebrate my birthday, i celebrated my birthweek! hehe. up until saturday, a lot of people still greeted me for my birthday (and my birthday was a wednesday.) haha. i've always believed that it's the thought that counts so i don't mind if they greeted me later. :) it was awfully nice that they remembered.

my officemates gave me this really big birthday card and this cake from bizu which i didn't really expect (expect the unexpected!). awwwww... thanks guys! i really do have a family in pointwest ^_^

last saturday has been really tiring. i attended our christmas party at merck's at the earlier part of the evening. (i didn't win any raffle prizes. :( but i did have a star under my chair and for that i won a prize! hehe. i've always been lucky ;)) i had to leave early coz it was also the same night my friends were coming to the house to celebrate my birthday (it was the only day they were free). i was a bit disappointed coz the others who promised to go kinda backed out (due to unavoidable reasons) and only a few came. but i was really glad and thankful for the few that came (it was already a blessing in itself). we got the chance to catch up on stuff. hope we do this again sometime (and next time, we should be complete!)

i've been recently addicted to movie and music quizzes lately (those excel files wherein you score a point for getting the right answer). it was fun to figure out how much i knew about music and movies(and how much i don't) kinda nerve-racking but still fun nevertheless. for a specific quiz, it was hard figuring the title of the songs (i had to sing through the entire song just to find out that the title wasn't there. =b) but it was a good thing there were a lot of us answering so we just traded answers. =b i was quite inis when they told me the titles of some of the songs because i knew them too, i just didn't remember them at that time (i was like, oo nga noh)

it was fun answering this one quiz with mark! haha. i was kinda not so surprised at the number of songs he was able to guess the title of (since he was older than me and he was in the music business), but i was surprised he knew a LOT (really) and for that i look up to him (wish i also knew that amount of music info). it was already a given that he'd get a higher score than me. without any help, he got an 80+ out of a 100 while a got a measely 60+ (same as rico's! haha). together we were able to figure out the rest of the songs except two (98's not so bad! =b). it was really fun giving out clues to each other.

mark: ano ibang words?
mel: di ko alam e. baka yung masabi ko, sounds like lang. hehe
mark: ahh... i want it that way?
mark: yun tama :)
basta, ang kukulit ng mga hirit. hehe.
